Galvalume is a coating composed of zinc, aluminum, and silicon that protects metals (mainly steel) from oxidation.
The coating composition is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon in weight ratio. It is sprayed on the surface of the cold-rolled plate, which has a good protective effect on the substrate.
The galvalume steel coils are an aluminum-zinc alloy structure formed by solidification of 55% aluminum, 43% zinc, and 2% silicon at a high temperature of 600 °.
This alloy is composed of dense quaternary crystals formed of aluminum-iron-silicon-zinc.
