All hot and cold machining methods can be used for forming 201-J4-cold-rolled-steel-coil. Hot working temperatures shall be between 1200°F and 2250°F and heavy forming shall be performed at temperatures above 1600°F. Annealing temperature shall be between 1300°F and 1600°F. Care should be taken in selecting the annealing temperature as this will greatly affect the mechanical properties and structure of the 201-J4-cold-rolled-steel-coil.
