Cold-rolled applying coils are a steel product produced by applying plastic deformation to hot-rolled steel on cold-rolling mills. With such processing, the product can have more accurate dimensional tolerances, better surface quality and improved mechanical properties as compared with hot-rolled coils.
Cold-rolled applying coil is also used to make thinner coils than hot-rolling mills can currently produce (less than 0.8-1.0 mm).
