Japanese Standard JIS Cold Rolled Mild Carbon Steel Coil

SPCC was originally the name of cold rolled carbon steel sheet and strip commonly used in Japanese standard (JIS). S represents steel, P represents plate, C represents cold rolling, and the fourth C represents ordinary grade; That is, ordinary cold-rolled steel sheet is generally used. 

Suffix SD, s indicates that the heat treatment state of the steel plate is annealing + leveling, and D indicates that the surface processing state of the steel plate is pitted.

Cold rolling uses hot-rolled steel coil as raw material, and then cold continuous rolling is carried out after acid pickling and removing oxide skin. The finished product is rolled hard coil. The cold work hardening caused by continuous cold deformation increases the strength and hardness of rolled hard coil and decreases the toughness and plasticity index. Therefore, the stamping performance will deteriorate and can only be used for parts with simple deformation.
