The tensile strength of the SPCF Steel cold rolled coil material is expressed in Newton per millimeters and it must be at-least 270 N/mm2 (MPa) & the yield strength is 210 N/mm2 (MPa).
The minimum percentage ranges for elongation is from 40 to 45 percent starting from 0.4 mm to 2.5 mm and over.

Quarter Hard SPCF Steel cold rolled coil material can be bent (perpendicular to the direction of rolling) on itself without fracturing. Half hard material can be bent 90 degree; Full hard can be bent 45 degree. Thus, these materials can be used for in applications involving great amounts of bending and deformation, without fracturing.
