60CrMnA Spring Steel

60CrMnA spring steel has higher strength, ductility and toughness, better hardenability, lower sensitivity than manganese steel and higher than silicon-manganese steel. The decarburization tendency of 60CrMnA steel is smaller than that of silicon-manganese steel, and the temper brittleness is large.

60CrMnA Characteristics and scope of application

The appropriate tempering temperature and cooling rate of 60CrMnA Spring Steel should be selected; generally, 60CrMnA is used in the quenching and medium temperature tempering state for the production of heavy-loaded, heavily stressed leaf springs and large diameter spiral springs in the vehicle and tractor industries.
