The steel grade 1.4410 ( also called UNS S32750 , F53 and 2507) is a superduplex stainless steel characterized by higher contents of chrome, molybdenium and nickel than standard duplex steels, resulting in increased corrosion resistance. These steels were developed for applications in aggressive chloride environments. They also have high mechanical strength and low thermal expansion due to the duplex structure.

1.4410 should be solution annealed and quenched after either hot or cold forming. Solution annealing should be done at a minimum of 1925ºF Annealing should be followed immediately by a rapid air or water quench. To obtain maximum corrosion resistance, heat treated products should be pickled and rinsed.
