329J1 stainless steel bar has a high strength and is used as seawater corrosion resistant equipment. It consists of 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel. Due to its high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen content,329J1 stainless steel bar has better corrosion resistance than 316L and 317L in most environments, and is used in chemical processing, petrochemical and subsea equipment for its strength and corrosion resistance.
