Our 410S stainless steel round bars are the generally martensitic grade that contains an appropriate amount of chromium that makes an offering of corrosion resistance and exceptional wearing features possible.
The SS 410S bars are not only resistant to corrosion but also offer resistance to mild acids. Concentrated and dilute acid resistance is also proven to be incorporated in this product.
Basically, 410S is also known as a martensitic grade that is all temperature treatable. This 410S type of stainless steel works well in a range of 35 to 39 deg C when it comes to hardening. Other features include high impact toughness, general corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance up to 1500 deg F, and hardenable that can be tempered.
