AISI 321 stainless steel bar is an 18/8 austenitic stainless steel (304) stabilized with titanium. AISI 321 stainless steel bar does not undergo intergranular corrosion when heated in the carbide precipitation temperature range of 425-850°C. AISI 321 stainless steel bar has good antioxidant properties and can be used at temperatures up to 900°C (intermittent use) and 925°C (continuous use). AISI 321 stainless steel bar is suitable for the manufacture of expansion joints, bellows, furnace parts, heating pipes and heat exchangers.
