Stainless Steel Bar CNS 347 is a stable austenitic chromium steel containing niobium which eliminates carbide precipitation and thus intergranular corrosion. Stainless Steel Bar CNS 347 has good resistance to intergranular corrosion and polysulphate intergranular stress corrosion, with high temperature strength and plasticity. Stainless Steel Bar CNS 347 is commonly used in the manufacture of heavy welding equipment that cannot be annealed and in equipment that operates between 800 and 150°F (427 and 816°C). Steel Bar CNS 347 has good corrosion resistance, weldability and thermal strength properties.
