SUS317L stainless steel bar has higher ductility, stress corrosion resistance, compressive strength and high temperature resistance than conventional stainless steels. SUS317L stainless steel bar is a low carbon grade or L grade which is resistant to sensitisation during welding and heat treatment. SUS317L stainless steel bar has good seawater and SCC resistance compared to 316L and is used in the manufacture of chemical equipment such as ships and chemical products where high corrosion resistance is required.
