UNS S43940 Stainless Steel Bar is a new ultra-pure ferritic stainless steel with a composition characterised by ultra-low (carbon + nitrogen) and medium chromium (18%), with the addition of small amounts of the alloying elements niobium (0.45-0.50%) and titanium (approx. 0.15%) to achieve the dual stabilisation of chromium. UNS S43940 Stainless Steel Bar is suitable for stainless steel products, atmospheric and low-pressure containers, decoration and other industries.
