Welding

Grade 305 stainless steel can be welded using most of the resistance and fusion methods. Oxyacetylene welding is not preferred for this steel.

The specifications for seamless or welded pipe is as per ASTM A312 aerospace specification. Also the pipe is available as finned pipe/ tube and have height of 0.375- 1.25’. Its thickness is about 20ga- 12ga. The square pipe is available in size ranging from 10mm x 10 mm- 250mm x250mm.
