UNS S31703 stainless steel pipe is an austenitic stainless steel based on molybdenum. It is more resistant to chemical corrosion than conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels such as 304 alloy. In addition. UNS S31703 stainless steel pipe is a low carbon grade or L grade, which has chemical properties during welding and heat treatment. It is more resistant to the corrosion of sulfuric acid solution than conventional chromium-nickel stainless steel, and its corrosion resistance increases with the increase of the alloy's molybdenum composition.
