The chemical composition of UNS S44002 stainless steel pipe is 0.60-0.75% carbon, ≤1.00% silicon, ≤1.00% manganese, ≤0.04% phosphorus, ≤0.03% sulfur, 16.0-18.0% chromium, ≤0.75% molybdenum , and the nickel element accounts for the highest proportion. As the nickel content increases, the thermodynamic stability of the UNS S44002 stainless steel pipe will also increase, so the 440A stainless steel alloy has better rust resistance and oxidative medium resistance.
