1.4362 Plate is a lean duplex and has an excellent combination of corrosion resistance and strength as a result of the alloy mixture and the microstructure. 1.4362 Sheet has good resistance against acidic environments and can be used in industries such as the phosphoric acid industry. 1.4362 Steel Plate also is resistant to chloride corrosion cracking and pitting. 1.4362 Duplex Plate has high crevice corrosion attack resistance as well. Lean Duplex 1.4362 Plate applications include rebar, bridge decks coastal piers and wharves, bridge parapets, chemical plant infrastructure, anchoring systems, anchoring dowels, bridge pilings and other applications where corrosion resistance is the decisive factor.
