S40500 stainless steel plate is a kind of ferritic stainless steel with oxidation resistance, plasticity, toughness and cold formability equivalent to low chromium stainless steel, which is better than other ferritic stainless steels with high chromium content. S40500 stainless steel plate is applicable to the manufacture of petroleum refining unit, pressure vessel lining, steam turbine blade and composite steel plate.
