UNS S30453 stainless steel plate is an austenitic type of stainless steel with the addition of nitrogen compared to 304L steel to improve its high strength for structural parts and resistance to grain boundary corrosion. UNS S30453 stainless steel plate is based on 304N to reduce the carbon content, because 304N in 450 ~ 900 degrees after heating resistance to intergranular corrosion performance decreased significantly, so for welding equipment structural parts, recommended to use UNS S30453 stainless steel plate.
