    Products Description

     

     

    DX54D+AZ is an extra deep drawing grade Galvalume steel coil manufactured in accordance with EN 10346 standard.

     

    • DX54D: Extra deep drawing low-carbon cold rolled steel substrate. Among DX51D / DX52D / DX53D series, it delivers the best formability, ultra-soft texture and the highest elongation. It perfectly fits ultra-complex deep drawing, ultra-thin sheet processing and multi-pass stamping with zero cracking and minimum springback.

     

    • +AZ: Hot-dip aluminum-zinc alloy coating (Galvalume / Aluzinc) with a composition of 55% Al – 43.5% Zn – 1.5% Si. Its corrosion resistance is 3 to 6 times higher than ordinary hot-dip galvanized steel. It features high temperature resistance up to 315°C, high heat reflectivity and edge self-healing performance.

    Automotive Industry: Door inner panels, hood inner parts, seat frames, fuel tanks and other complex stamping components requiring crack-free forming.

    Home Appliances: Refrigerator shells, washing machine panels, air conditioner backplates, microwave shells and deep-drawn structural parts.

    1.Can Galvalume Steel be used in coastal or marine areas?

    Answer: Galvalume is highly durable, but for projects within 1,500 feet of salt water, we recommend specific high-build coatings or heavier AZ weights. For extreme salt-spray exposure, please consult our technical team for specialized solutions.

     

    2. Is Galvalume Steel compatible with copper or treated lumber?

    Answer: No. Galvalume should not come into contact with copper pipes or pressure-treated lumber, as this can cause electrolytic corrosion. Always use compatible fasteners and runoff management to protect the alloy coating.

     

    3. What is "Anti-Fingerprint" (AFP) treatment on Galvalume sheets?

    Answer: AFP is a specialized resin coating applied over the Galvalume layer. It prevents smudging during installation, enhances scratch resistance, and adds an extra layer of protection against "black rust" during storage.

     

    4. What is the difference between Prepainted Galvalume (PPGL) and bare Galvalume?

    Answer: Bare Galvalume has a natural silver spangle finish. Prepainted Galvalume (PPGL) features a factory-applied paint system (like PVDF or PE) over the alloy, providing both custom colors and enhanced chemical resistance.

     

    5. Can Galvalume Steel be easily formed or bent?

    Answer: Yes. Our Galvalume Steel Coils are designed for excellent formability. They can be roll-formed into complex roofing profiles or deep-drawn without the coating cracking or peeling.
