Galvanization or galvanizing (also spelled galvanisation or galvanising) is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron, to prevent rusting. The most common method is hot-dip galvanizing, in which the parts are submerged in a bath of molten hot zinc.
Application of Galvanized Products
Galvanized steel strip products are mainly used in construction, light industry, automobile, agriculture, animal husbandry, fishery and commerce industries.
1. The construction industry is mainly used to manufacture anti-corrosion industrial and civil building roof panels, roof grids, etc.
2. The light industry uses it to manufacture appliance shells, civil chimneys, kitchen appliances, etc., and the automotive industry is mainly used to manufacture corrosion-resistant parts for cars;
3. Agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery are mainly used as food storage and transportation, meat and aquatic products freezing processing tools, etc.;
4. Commercial use is mainly used for storage and transportation of materials, packaging tools, etc.
