Aluminum Pipe Dimensions
Aluminum pipe and tube come in various dimensions depending on the intended use. Unlike steel pipe, aluminum pipe is not ordered by the "schedule" wall system - it is specified by exact outside diameter (OD) and wall thickness.
1. Dimension Parameters
Outside diameter (OD): typically about 3–610 mm (1/8"–24"), depending on product form;
Wall thickness: commonly 0.5–10 mm - specified directly, not as a schedule number (Schedule 5–160 is a steel-pipe system per ASME B36.10/B36.19 and does not apply to aluminum);
Length: 0.3–6 m standard, longer or custom lengths available;
Shape: round, square and rectangular sections.

3. Standards
ASTM B210 - seamless aluminum tube; ASTM B241 - aluminum pipe;
GB/T 4437 - extruded aluminium and aluminium alloy tubes (China);
EN 755 - extruded rod/bar/tube (Europe).
4. Ordering Notes
Specify shape, OD × wall × length, alloy-temper, tolerance class and governing standard;
Confirm surface condition (mill finish, anodized-ready) and packaging for export;
Request the mill certificate with chemistry and mechanical properties.
