Products Description
DC steel plates have high tensile strength and elongation, giving them good processing properties during the manufacturing process and is easy to bend, stamp, form and weld. This makes DC steel plates widely used in the manufacturing of automotive parts, home appliances, construction and other parts that require high strength and precision. DC steel plates' s low carbon content gives them excellent weldability and machinability. They can be processed through various welding and cutting processes, such as arc welding, gas shielded welding, laser cutting, etc., to meet the needs of material processing performance in different fields. Lastly, the carbon emission is low and meets the requirements of environmental protection and sustainable development.
DC01 steel (1.0330 material) is a European standard cold-rolled quality low-carbon steel flat product for cold forming. In BS and DIN EN 10130 standard, it contains 5 other steel grades: DC03 (1.0347), DC04 (1.0338), DC05 (1.0312), DC06 ( 1.0873) and DC07 (1.0898).

1. Chemical Composition of DC01 Steel (EN 10130 Standard)
DC01 is a low-carbon cold rolled steel grade. Its chemical limits are tightly controlled to ensure reliable forming behavior and stable mechanical properties.
Chemical Composition Table
| Element | Maximum Content (%) |
|---|---|
| Carbon (C) | ≤ 0.12 |
| Manganese (Mn) | ≤ 0.60 |
| Phosphorus (P) | ≤ 0.045 |
| Sulfur (S) | ≤ 0.045 |
| Nitrogen (N) | ≤ 0.009 |
The low carbon content ensures that DC01 maintains good ductility, making it ideal for bending, shaping, and moderate stamping operations. Strict control of phosphorus and sulfur also contributes to excellent surface quality and reliable performance during coating and painting processes.
2. Mechanical Properties of DC01 Cold Rolled Steel
DC01 offers mechanical stability suitable for various fabrication processes. Its balanced yield strength and high elongation allow manufacturers to achieve consistent forming results without the risk of cracking.
Mechanical Properties Table
| Property | DC01 Value |
|---|---|
| Yield Strength | 140–280 MPa |
| Tensile Strength | 270–410 MPa |
| Elongation (A80) | ≥ 28% |
| Hardness | ≤ 60 HRB |
These values demonstrate why DC01 is commonly chosen for visible parts, coated components, and applications requiring high dimensional accuracy.
3.DC01 steel has the following characteristics:
Excellent Cold Forming Properties: DC01 steel exhibits excellent cold forming properties, making it suitable for deep drawing, stretching, and bending processes during manufacturing.
High Surface Quality: DC01 steel is known for its high surface quality, which is important for applications where appearance is a key consideration, such as in automotive parts and appliances.
Good Weldability: This type of steel offers good weldability, allowing for ease of joining with other components or structures through welding processes.
Wide Applicability: Due to its favorable mechanical properties and surface finish, DC01 steel finds applications in various industries including automotive, appliance manufacturing, metal packaging, and general engineering.
