Application fields of Galvalume Steel Coil
Aluzinc-coated steel is a new type of corrosion-resistant coated steel sheet, which is made of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon solidified at 600℃. Advantages of galvanized steel coils
(1) Strong corrosion resistance
The corrosion resistance of galvanized steel coils is better than that of ordinary galvanized steel coils, especially in coastal areas or environments with heavy industrial pollution. Experimental data show that under the same environment, the service life of galvanized steel coils can reach 2 to 4 times that of ordinary galvanized steel coils.
(2) Good heat resistance
Alvanized steel coils can withstand temperatures of around 300°C, while ordinary galvanized steel coils are easily oxidized and fail at high temperatures. This feature makes them suitable for certain occasions that require high temperature resistance, such as chimneys, oven shells, etc.

Suggestions for purchasing galvanized steel coils
(1) Choose according to the use environment
If the application environment is highly corrosive (such as coastal areas), it is recommended to give priority to galvanized steel coils; if the environment is relatively mild, ordinary galvanized steel coils may be more cost-effective.
(2) Pay attention to the coating thickness. The coating thickness directly affects the corrosion resistance. Generally, the coating thickness of galvanized steel coils for construction use is recommended to be above 20 microns, while it can be appropriately reduced for home appliance use. (3) Check the surface quality. The surface of high-quality galvanized steel coils should be uniform and smooth, without obvious scratches, bubbles or coating peeling.
