What Is galvanized steel?
Galvanizing refers to a surface treatment technology that plates a layer of zinc on the surface of metals, alloys or other materials to play a role in beauty and rust prevention. The main method used is hot-dip galvanizing.
Zinc is easily soluble in acids and can also be soluble in alkalis, so it is called amphoteric metals. Zinc hardly changes in dry air. In humid air, a dense basic zinc carbonate film is formed on the surface of the zinc. In sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and marine atmospheres, zinc corrosion resistance is poor, especially in high temperature and high humidity containing organic acids, zinc coating is easy to be corroded.
