5A02 aluminium sheet belongs to 5 series Al-Mg antirust aluminium, with good corrosion resistance. Besides, the fatigue strength of 5A02 aluminium alloy is outstanding, which is higher than that of 3A21 alloy. In terms of plasticity, it is similar to 3A21 alloy, all have good formability. Similarly, 5A02 aluminium is a non-heat treated alloy, strengthened by cold working. Among them, under the condition of cold work hardening and semi-cold work hardening, the machinability of 5A02 aluminium alloy is good. Under the condition of annealing, the machinability is poor. So the 5A02 aluminium sheet can be well applied to the manufacture of the flange, oil tank, GIS high voltage switch shell, rivet or electrode, etc.
