AISI 430 Stainless Steel Coil is a ferritic, non-hardenable stainless steel grade. This grade contains only chromium, 16% to 18%, which is a ferritic steel, and contains very small amounts of nickel, manganese, sulphur, phosphorus and silicon. This is the reason why AISI 430 Stainless Steel Coil is called a pure chromium alloy. AISI 430 Stainless Steel Coil is suitable for the manufacture of formed/stretched parts, mining handling equipment, industrial roof and wall cladding and other heat resistant applications.
