This Chrome Manganese stainless steel c low content of nickel. Its structure contains 14−16,5% Cr and up to 0.14% carbon. The alloy is doped with manganese 8.5−10.5%, copper 2%, 1−1.5% nickel, 0.75% silicon, in thousandths of sulfur and phosphorus. Balance is iron.
High-grade stainless 12H15G9ND has a low nickel content, which makes it more resistant to sulfur-containing environments. This steel is recommended as a material for manufacturing a wide profile, operating in slightly aggressive media and under the open sky.
