PPGI sheet is short for pre-painted galvanized steel sheet. It is a kind of pre-painted steel sheet, which uses galvanized steel sheet as the base metal. Then it is painted with one or several layers of organic coatings after surface pretreatment (degreasing and cleaning), and then baked and solidified continuously. Then the coils will be cut into sheets of the desired size. Through rolling equipment, the plain sheets can be profiled into corrugated PPGI sheets.

The weight of colored GI sheets ranges from 1 to 10 kg/m2, which is about 1/30 of a brick wall. According to the weight calculation formula: Thickness (mm) * 1 m * 1 m* 7.85 = (kg/m2), the PPGI sheet weight per sqm mainly depends on the thickness. Therefore, the weight of our GI color coated sheet is available from 1.099 kg/m2 (0.14*1*1*7.85) to 9.42 kg /m2 (0.14*1*1*7.85). So its shockproof performance is better, which makes the building safer. Besides, it is easy to transport to save your cost.
