DC01 is a low-carbon cold-rolled steel sheet, primarily composed of an iron matrix with trace amounts of carbon and manganese. Produced using a continuous cold rolling mill, key processes include pickling and descaling the hot-rolled coil, multiple cold-rolling passes, protective atmosphere annealing, and leveling. This process combination ensures a product tolerance of 0.8-1.2mm and a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8μm.
II. Core Performance Parameters and Testing Standards
According to EN 10130, typical mechanical properties of this material include: yield strength of 140-280 MPa, tensile strength of 270-410 MPa, and elongation ≥ 28%. Rockwell hardness values range from 40-75 HRB, with excellent deep-drawability (r-value ≥ 1.8). Electrochemical testing shows that after passivation, its salt spray corrosion resistance can reach over 120 hours.
III. Key Points for Food Contact Material Certification
For use in food machinery, materials must comply with EC Regulation 1935/2004. Critical Control Points include:
1. Surface coatings must be certified according to FDA 21CFR175.300.
2. Welded areas must be passivated.
3. Contact surface roughness must be controlled to Ra ≤ 0.4μm.
4. Regular testing for heavy metal migration (lead < 0.01mg/kg).
