Cold Rolled Steel Plate

DC steel plates feature high tensile strength and excellent elongation, providing outstanding processing performance during manufacturing. They can be easily bent, stamped, formed and welded, making them suitable for applications that require both high strength and dimensional precision. As a result, DC steel plates are widely used in the production of automotive components, household appliances, construction materials and other industrial parts.

With their low carbon content, DC steel plates offer superior weldability and machinability. They support multiple welding and cutting methods-such as arc welding, gas-shielded welding and laser cutting-effectively meeting diverse material processing requirements across different industries.

In addition, the low carbon composition contributes to reduced carbon emissions, aligning with environmental protection goals and the principles of sustainable development.

  • Scope of Application

DC01 – Designed for basic forming processes such as bending, embossing, beading and standard drawing operations.
DC03 – Intended for more demanding forming applications, including deep drawing and more complex profiling.
DC04 – Suitable for applications requiring high levels of formability.
DC05 – A deep-drawing grade developed to meet very high forming requirements.
DC06 – A special deep-drawing grade engineered for the highest demands in cold forming.
DC07 – An ultra deep-drawing grade tailored for extreme and highly challenging forming operations.

Cold-rolled flat steel products produced in compliance with DIN EN 10130 and DIN EN 10152 provide significant advantages for cold-forming applications. DIN EN 10130 specifies the fundamental requirements for chemical composition, mechanical properties and surface quality, while DIN EN 10152 extends these specifications with additional criteria for electrolytically galvanized products that offer enhanced corrosion protection.

Together, these standards ensure consistently high product quality, long service life and reliable performance across a broad spectrum of industrial applications.
