Cold Rolled Steel Coil
What is Cold Rolled Steel DC06?

The mechanical properties of DC06 are also clearly defined. The material has a maximum yield strength of 120 MPa and a tensile strength of between 270 and 350 MPa. In addition, DC06 has an elongation at break of at least 40%, which underlines its excellent formability. These properties make DC06 particularly suitable for the production of complex and precise components that require high formability, such as deep-drawn body parts in the automotive industry or sophisticated components in the household appliance industry.
The DIN EN 10130 standard also specifies the tolerances for dimensions, shape and surface finish. These tolerances are crucial to ensure consistently high product quality and to meet the requirements of the end user. The surface of the cold-rolled flat products can be supplied in various qualities, from matt to glossy, to meet the specific requirements of different applications.
Product Advantages
Excellent dimensional accuracy and uniform thickness
Cold-rolled coil products offer outstanding size precision and consistent thickness control. The variation across the coil is generally within 0.01–0.03 mm, ensuring reliable compliance with high-tolerance specifications required in advanced manufacturing.
Capability to produce ultra-thin strips
Cold-rolling enables the production of extremely thin steel strips - as thin as 0.001 mm - a specification that cannot be achieved through hot-rolling processes, meeting the increasing demand for lightweight and precision components.
Superior surface quality
Cold-rolled steel provides a high-grade, defect-free surface without issues commonly seen in hot-rolled products, such as pitting or iron oxide scale. According to user requirements, coils can be supplied with different surface finishes - from high-gloss to matte or textured - supporting enhanced formability and downstream processing efficiency.
Outstanding mechanical and formability performance
Cold-rolled plates demonstrate high strength, low yield point, and excellent deep-drawability, offering a combination of mechanical properties that make them ideal for stamping, bending, stretching, and other forming processes in industrial production.
High production efficiency
Cold-rolling supports high-speed and fully continuous rolling operations, enabling large-scale output while maintaining stable product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
