PPGL Prepainted Galvalume Steel Coil
Prepainted Galvalume Steel Coil for Roofing Contractors – Super High Durable Polyester available.
Prepainted Galvalume Steel Coil(PPGL) is a type of steel product that has been coated with a layer of aluminum-zinc alloy (Galvalume) and then pre-painted with a layer of protective paint.
PPGL Coil uses DX51D+AZ, q195, and galvalume steel sheet as the substrate, PE coating is our most commonly produced, it can be used for up to 10 years. We can also customize the color of the PPGL steel coil, such as wood grain, or matt.
The Galvalume coating typically consists of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon, which offers superior protection compared to traditional galvanized steel.

The substrate is an annealed cold-rolled steel coil.
Chromated paint is used for cleaning the surface of the cold-rolled coil.
After Chromated, the next is zinc coated. The coil becomes a galvalume steel coil now.
After zinc coated, the next is Chromated again, for cleaning the galvalume steel coil surface again.
The primer coating is used for increasing the adhesion of the top coating. When cold roll forms, the paint will not fall off.
The top paint coating metal is PE or PVDF.
