Description

PE coating is shorted for Polyester coating,which has good adhesion to materials, and make color coated steel sheets be easily processed and formed. Because of cheap price and wide range of color and gloss,this coating type is widely used in many products.

The substrate could be hot dipped galvanized steel,hot dipped galvalume steel.


Life Span:

Under normal environmental exposure,the corrosion protection period can be as long as 7-8 years,but its service life will be relatively reduced in industrial environments or areas with serious pollution.

Also PE coating is not ideal for UV resistance and powdering resistance,so the use of PE coatings still need to be limited.

Generally used in areas where air pollution is not serious or products that need to be processed multiple times.


Coating structure:

Substrate:

-Hot dipped galvanized steel coils,according to JIS G3302,Zinc coating 275 g/m²;

-Hot dipped galvalume(5% aluminum coating added in),according to JISG3317,Zinc coating: 275 g/m²;

-Hop dipped galvalume(55% aluminum coating added in ),according to JIS G3321,AZ coating:150 g/m²,standard thickness:0.576mm,other thickness could follow customers’ requirement.


Primer coating:

Using highly corrosion resistant Polyurethane(Also called PU),film thickness:5μm.


Top coating:

Using Good processable and newly improved Polyester,film thickness 20-22μm.


Top coating color & gloss:

-Color could be customized;

-Top coating gloss is typically 25%, 35%, 65% or 75% (60° reflection angle,according to ASTM D523)


Back primer coating:

Using highly corrosion resistant Polyurethane(Also called PU),film thickness:2μm.


Back coating:

Using good corrosion resistant epoxy resin coating,polyester resin coating,film thickness:7-10μm.


Back coating color & gloss:

-Back coating color is usually using beige,grey or white grey color.

-Back coating gloss is typically 25% or 65% (60° reflection angle,according to ASTM D523).
