AZ50 galvanized steel coil
AZ50 galvanized steel coil is a cold-rolled steel sheet coated with an aluminum-zinc alloy. Its coating is a quaternary alloy consisting of aluminum (55%), zinc (43.4%), and silicon (1.6%). Produced through a hot-dip galvanizing process, it offers excellent corrosion resistance (over three times that of ordinary galvanized sheet) and is commonly used in building exterior panels and lightweight steel structures.
The mixed structure of hot dip aluminum zinc silicon coating has its unique advantages in corrosion resistance. When the aluminum-zinc plate is used, the zinc-aluminum eutectic in the aluminum-rich phase skeleton is first corroded, which has a good protective effect on the incision as pure zinc. The corroded product is not as easy to fall off as the galvanized plate, but is just stored in the aluminum-rich phase skeleton gap, which can prevent further corrosion of the coating to a certain extent.
