When purchasing hot-dip galvanized square pipes, people often ask how thick the galvanized layer is. First of all, galvanized square pipes are divided into two categories. What people call galvanized square pipes, one is galvanized square pipes, the other is hot-dip galvanized square pipes, galvanized square pipes and hot-dip galvanized square pipes. How should these two be distinguished? However, most of the products exposed in my market are galvanized square pipes. First of all, it is considered to reduce costs, processability, good toughness and bending properties, and smooth surface with good gloss.
The galvanized layer of the national standard hot-dip galvanized square pipe is (GB/T 13912-2002) during the acceptance process
1. The area of each leaky galvanized surface should not exceed 10cm.
2. The thickness of the repair layer should be more than 30pm thicker than the minimum required thickness of the galvanized layer. Visually inspect all hot-dip galvanized parts and their main surfaces (see 3.5) should be smooth and free of drop marks, roughness and zinc thorns (if these Zinc thorns can cause damage), no peeling, no missing plating, no residual solvent slag, and there should be no zinc nodules and zinc dust in parts that may affect the use or corrosion resistance of hot-dip galvanized workpieces.
As needed, hot-dip galvanizing manufacturers should provide cs/T 13912-2002 certificates that comply with the requirements of this standard.
