Why choose galvanized steel coils according to DIN standards?
1. Excellent anti-corrosion performance
| Environment type | Expected life (years) | Recommended zinc layer (g/m²) |
|---|---|---|
| Normal atmospheric environment | 20-50 | 60-100 |
| Industrial/marine environment | 15-30 | 100-180 |
| Extremely corrosive environment | 10-20 | 180+ |
2. High strength and processing performance
Substrate material: DX51D, DX52D, DX53D and other brands are available
Tensile strength: 270-420 MPa
Elongation: ≥18% (A80 sample)
3. Surface quality classification (DIN EN 10143)
| Grade | Surface characteristics | Applicable scenarios |
|---|---|---|
| FB (normal) | Allows a small amount of zinc flowers/minor defects | Structural parts, hidden projects |
| FC (higher) | Uniform zinc layer, small defects are allowed | Household appliance housing, general appearance parts |
| FD (higher) | No defects, mirror-level flatness | High-end automotive panels, exterior decoration |
4.Technical parameter comparison table
| Parameters | Specification range | Test standard |
|---|---|---|
| Thickness | 0.3mm-3.0mm | DIN EN ISO 9445 |
| Width | 600mm-1500mm | DIN 59350 |
| Zinc layer weight | 30/30g/m² - 275/275g/m² | DIN EN ISO 1460 |

Main DIN standard galvanized steel coil types
1.DIN EN 10346 Series
The zinc layer coverage is 80-275 g/㎡, suitable for high-strength structural parts and automobile manufacturing. The product thickness ranges from 1.5 to 5.0 mm, and the width is 900 to 1600 mm. It can be weighed by weighing or calculating.
2.DIN EN 10152 Series
The electro-galvanized coils of models DC01+ZE 18/18 and DC04+ZE can reach a thickness of 1.1 mm and are commonly used in precision processing fields such as refrigerator door panels and automotive parts. Surface treatment includes phosphating process to improve corrosion resistance and paint adhesion.
3.DIN EN 10142 Series
Imported galvanized coils (such as N2 surface treatment type) with a thickness of 0.4 to 3.0 mm are suitable for construction and industrial equipment manufacturing. The uniformity of the zinc layer meets European standards.
