UNS S31603 Stainless Steel Bar is a low carbon version of 316 with very high immunity to sensitisation (carbide precipitation at grain boundaries). Compared to chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels, UNS S31603 Stainless Steel Bar has higher creep, fracture stress and tensile strength at elevated temperatures.
