Electro-galvanized steel sheets are rarely used in the market today, and hot-dip galvanized sheets are more commonly used to replace them. What are its advantages?
Hot-dip galvanizing has the following advantages over phosphating:
(1) It can be converted into a thicker coating, and has a pure zinc layer and an iron-zinc alloy material layer, so it has good corrosion resistance;
(2) The productivity of hot-dip galvanizing is very high; the residence time of products in the hot-dip galvanizing tank generally does not exceed;
(3) Relative phosphating treatment, hot-dip galvanizing products have lower costs and are less harmful to the environment than electroplating processes;
(4) The level of automation technology is high when plating aluminum profiles such as plates, strips, wires, and tubes.
Phosphating treatment is to use electrolytic equipment to remove oil, pickle and passivate the pipe, and then put it into a solution composed of zinc salts, and connect the negative stage of the electrolytic equipment, and place a zinc plate on the opposite door of the pipe , connected to the power supply at the positive stage of the electrolytic equipment, a layer of zinc will be deposited on the pipe by using a fixed movement of current from the positive stage to the negative stage. The cold-plated pipe is processed first and then hot-dip galvanized.
