4130 has excellent corrosion resistance and can be easily painted or powder coated after fabrication. 4130 is corrosion resistant compared to 4150 which contains sulfur, making 4150 more susceptible to rusting as well as other forms of oxidation such as heat checking, pitting and crevice corrosion.
